Hagen’s DOB was on 7/28/03. He was an identical twin, so there was double the miracle of a growing family. There are 21 OHS/FS total in this workout. Hagen &

Saturday May 6th
“Weight of the World” – WON’T BE ANNOUNCED UNTIL FRIDAY, MAY 5TH!
Hagen was diagnosed with Leukemia on 3/2/05. For the Hills, this must have felt like the weight of the world came crashing down on them. There was no preparation for what they were about to deal with. As a resemblance of this, WOD 2 will go un-announced until the day of the competition.
“100 Days / 100 Reps”
Hagen spent 100+ days in the transplant unit.
25 Hang Clean (155/105) / (115/75)
25 Toes-to-bar / knee-to-elbow
25 Alternating Dumbbell Snatch (50/35) / (35/20)
25 Muscle-Ups / 25 Pull-up or 30 Jumping Pull-ups
*Both partners complete the 25 reps each before moving on to the next movement.
**Partners may split reps however (Example P1 completes 15 Hang-Cleans, then P2 completes 15 Hang-cleans. P1 Completes 10 Hang-cleans, followed by P2 completing 10 Hang-cleans. They then move on to 25 toes-to-bar each).
***Partners work through as much as the AMRep as possible. They start back at Hang-cleans if they complete all of the Ring Muscle ups / pull ups.
****Only one partner may work at a time.
On 5/17/07 Hagen lost his battle. He has now received complete healing; no leukemia, no pain, no sickness. He’s free. He lived for 1,388 days. This will be a 1,388 second AMRAP, which comes out to 23 minutes and 8 seconds.
UPDATE – This is now a 12 Min AMRAP – Ironically Hagen spent roughly half his life in the hospital during his fight. This WOD is now roughly half the time originally scheduled.
5 Thrusters (95/65) / (75/55)
17 Calorie Row
7 Chest-to-bar Pull-ups / 7 Pull-ups or 12 jumping pull-ups
*Athletes alternate movements.
