Avery Olivas is 6 yrs old. Avery was diagnosed with Burkitt’s lymphoma of the liver on February 6, 2018.
Avery went through 6 months of chemo and it was really hard for him at first but before we knew it the 6-month mark was here and he was confirmed cancer-free! His battle was tough but shorter than expected. He is a hero! Avery is so energetic, shy at times but very polite. He loves D.C. and Marvel characters. Since he likes the Incredible Hulk, his nickname at the hospital was “The Incredible Avery!” Avery is currently cheering on his sister who was diagnosed with cancer a month after his diagnosis. Together they stayed side by side supporting each other. Avery rang his bell and now he is waiting for his sister to ring her bell!
