Kenadi Woods

Meet Kenadi Woods! Kenadi’s favorite color was yellow and she loved elephants. When not in the clinic or doing schoolwork, you could find her fishing or swimming.

Kenadi was diagnosed with a rare childhood cancer called Ewing Sarcoma in December 2016. The initial treatment plan called for radiation and chemo. She battled through until her remission in September of 2017. This was a huge blessing and a great time for celebration. January 18, 2018 doctors found out that Kenadi’s cancer had returned. There is not a standard treatment for recurring cancer thus making treatment more challenging. She underwent a clinical trial treatment plan for a short time and unfortunately, it was not a successful treatment. On April 20, 2018, Kenadi gained her wings, no longer sick, no longer in pain, no more suffering.  She get’s to fish all she wants and party all day! Please keep her family and friends in your prayers as they enter their new chapter.  Many thanks to Kenadi’s mom for allowing Tough As Nails to share her story.  (3/13/2009-4/20/18) #kenadistrong
